Private Investigator Dotan Naor is tasked with finding Sigal Bardon, a wealthy young Israeli girl, who has gone missing in Thailand.
His search takes him to the heart of Bangkok, to the sleazy underbelly, where nothing is out of bounds, as long as you have the money to pay for it.
Dotan’s investigations are blocked every which way he turns, with the police being just as corrupt as the criminals he encounters. He formerly worked for Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service, and as such, will have made many enemies, but his biggest nemesis is former friend and colleague Reuven. Things ended badly between the two of them, resulting in them both being thrown out of Shin Bet. Dotan has never forgiven Reuven for this, but he just might have to, because his arch enemy may be the only one with a clue to Sigal’s disappearance.
Raw, and gritty, the author reveals Bangkok’s darker side, in this fast paced, compelling mystery. Entertaining, action packed, and with a real flavour of the seamier side of Bangkok, both in terms of the characters and the location, this is a really good read!
